Read your notes back to yourself
- Can I name the product and explain what it is?
- Do I know who assessed me and how to check their licence?
- Do I know which pharmacy supplies any medicine?
- Do I understand the evidence and what it does not establish?
- Can I explain the total bill and how repeat charges stop?
- Do I have a written route for follow-up questions?
Keep the choice tied to your goal
Look back at the goal you wrote before the visit. Ask the clinician how the proposed choice addresses it and what alternatives remain.
You do not need to turn an unanswered question into a yes. Keep asking until the answer is clear enough to put in your own words.
Save the notes. They give the next conversation somewhere useful to start.
